Excellent service. An older, basic car that is never going to win races, but very clean and functional, and the guaranteed automatic transmission was a plus. Would you really want North Americans loose on the NZ roads in something more powerful? Very convenient location for heading out on the highways. Pick up from downtown and drop off at the airport were deciding factors for us.
What can we do to improve services in the future? Really liked the relaxed atmosphere. It was no problem to come in and ask for the information, but highlighting where the nearest gas station to fill up before drop off would help those of us who are a bit lost driving on the left.
We used another agency on the North Island only due to lack of car availability.

Due to the fact that I was flying home on Christmas day, Allways made the effort of coming in early on this festive day to accept the rental car back and to take me to the airport. This was something that was over and above their normal service. It was very much appreciated. I will be more than happy to use this company again. I will also be recommending then to friends and family who will be coming to NZ in the future. Their prices were also very reasonable. I was very pleased with the swift response to my email enquiries. The swift response to picking me up, once the phonecall from the arrival terminal was brilliant. If this service continues then I have no reason to believe that you need to improve.

I like the way that Allways doesn't try to push you to upgrade etc. and that they are prepared to give you exactly what you need even if it's only a basic car to run around town in. I like the personal touch. What can we do to improve services in the future? Only minor detail is the lack of early service for early flights, which necessitates in a parking fee charged.

Hi Mary, yes we were well pleased with the demio, but we did think a parcel shelf in the back of the car would have added to security re: are luggage etc. we had a fantastic time in nz, great to be with our young folk. we met a few people who were disappointed with their hire cars, mostly 4x4s from other hirers, but can honestly say we were very pleased with the demio. hope you & your little family are all well, just getting used to a cooler climate over here.
